- Chọn màng hoặc chuông tùy căn cứ âm mà thật ra ta muốn nghe.
- Cho nên áp dụng cả chuông và màng khi khám bệnh nhân .
- Khi nghe bằng màng cần ấn chặt màng trên da người bệnh.
- Khi áp dụng chuông chỉ cần ấn nhẹ lên da bệnh nhân .
